Election 2024: IMANI boss urges Bawumia Campaign to address economic concerns

President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has called on the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Campaign Team to provide practical solutions to reverse the country’s dire economic situation.

Franklin Cudjoe made this appeal in a statement, expressing concern about the impact of the economic crisis on Ghanaians.

Many citizens, he noted, have suffered significant losses in wealth and dignity, and are merely existing in hopelessness.

While acknowledging the campaign’s promises for a better future, Mr. Cudjoe cautioned that these promises risk being undermined by the precarious state of the economy.

“I will strongly urge the Bawumia Campaign to also consider telling us how they can practically reverse the coldest economic data in a generation. Many have lost so much in wealth and dignity. They are just existing, hoping against hope”

Ghana is currently grappling with high exchange rates, which threaten to scare off investors, and a debt crisis that requires urgent attention.

Franklin Cudjoe emphasized the need for the Dr Bawumia campaign to outline concrete steps to address these economic challenges, restore stability, and stimulate growth.

He encouraged the campaign team, led by ‘Miracles Aboahye Daniel’, to rise to the challenge and offer a comprehensive economic recovery plan.

He expressed confidence in their ability to do so and prayed for divine guidance in their endeavors.

“So far the campaign is doing well promising more, but the promises will falter and die with a wobbly economy not servicing debts with high exchange rates capable of chasing away some investors. Miracles Aboahye Daniel and the campaign team, I know you can do this. It is possible. May God guide you.”
