The family of the deceased suspects foul play and wants the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to call for a full-scale probe into the incident.

According to the family, their beloved brother was killed and a rope tied to his neck to set the tone for the narration that he killed himself.

The deceased’s father, Mr. Moses Ocran has asked a barrage of questions. He wants the Mankessim Jedu Police to come out and explain to the family where his son got the rope while in police custody to hang himself.

According to Mr. Ocran, he does not understand why the police deposited the deceased at the mortuary without engaging with the family.

He said the actions of the police are grounds for the family to suspect his son was indeed killed.

Mr. Ocran also kicked against the decision of the police to do an autopsy report without any charge from the family.

Meanwhile, the mother of the deceased Abena Manu has threatened to invoke curses on the police personnel for allegedly killing their son and putting rope on his neck to set the tone for the narration that he committed suicide.
