Former Black Queens goalkeeper, Memunatu Sulemana is homeless.

Original 91.9 FM investigations reveal Memunatu sleeps on a table somewhere at the Keneshie bus terminal. We understand the ex-national safest pair of hands due to financial constraints could not renew her rent after it expired.

“My rent has expired, and when I go to the GFA, the leaders are not ready to help me, so I have been ejected,” the former Fabulous Ladies’ shot-stopper disclosed in an exclusive interview with Original FM.

Touring her abode with our reporter Ohene Nana Kwame Osei,  Memunatu pleaded with the management of the Ghana Football Association to salvage her from the untold hardship she is enduring.

According to the 45-year-old, her family has abandoned her and if the football governing body in Ghana does not come to her aid she would be helpless.

Teary, Menunatu, who represented Ghana at the 1999, 2003, and 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cups recounted sacrifices she made for the love of Ghana.

At a point in her professional career, she disclosed that she had to abort a pregnancy in order to represent the national team in a tournament.

“My grandmother and my head coach then took me to a man who removed the twin babies, and I was naive,” she sobbed.
