I am not retiring anytime soon – Isaac Dogboe

Former WBO Super Bantamweight champion, Isaac Dogboe says he is not retiring from boxing anytime soon until he becomes a world champion again.

Despite recently losing the vacant WBO Featherweight world title fight to Cuban Robeisy Ramirez.

In an interaction with the media earlier today Dogboe says Ghanaians should watch out for his comeback.

“I wouldn’t say it’s time for me to hang the gloves, I’m still young and I have got energy”.

“I don’t like to be pressured,  when you put pressure on yourself, it doesn’t do you any good “.

“I believe in taking my time, taking a deep breath, and reorganising. That’s what we did 5 years ago and we were able to get a lot of wins”.

“It took a miracle for me to still be where I am today,  from back-to-back defeat. However, I believe I will bounce back by God’s grace “.

“My next fight will be more magnificent than the last time “.

Dogboe’s defeat to Ramirez is the third in his career and the first in his new division.
