Singer Elom Adablah known as EL in the showbiz fraternity says he does not follow trends even though the music industry is evolving fast.
Making appearance on Metro TV’s Entertainment Review, the musician cum producer intimated how he’s been a trend setter dating back to his childhood.
“I learnt about style a long time ago from my father with some of the things he told me which have deeply resonated with me and since then I haven’t been the person to do what others are doing, and when I see people doing something, I want to see if we can do something to balance it out,”.he said.
The multiple award winner added that he has done well in maintaining his own style and trend and also prides himself with the fact that other people are doing one thing, and he is doing something else.
EL further pointed out that he doesn’t do anything to sustain his fanbase in the evolving music industry notwithstanding, that he has this unspoken connection with them.
“There are a lot of people who will identify with you and when they hear you then can say that it resonates with me, they can almost say that he is talking about me or she can say he is taking about my experiences and I make music for those type of people,”.he disclosed.
The ‘Koko’ hitmaker emphasized the special connection between his fans and himself stating that he doesn’t have to do too much work to be in touch them and he’s in close contact with the fanbase.
