Insults Won’t Work; Respect Womanhood – Yvonne Nelson Schools Sarkodie Over Diss Rap

It appears the “beef” between Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie and actress cum producer, Yvonne Nelson is not ending anytime soon.

The actress in her book made damning accusations against the rapper about a fling they had in the past.

In her book titled “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson”, the CEO of YN Productions revealed that the rapper impregnated her in 2010 but he asked her to abort the pregnancy because he wasn’t ready to be a father.

According to Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie neither funded the procedure nor provided emotional support to her when she was going through the ordeal.

The accusation, since the book was launched, has generated a huge debate in all parts of the country.

But Sarkodie in a rap song has responded to the claims of his girlfriend.

In a fiery new song addressing the scandalous claims made by Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie presented his side of the story.

He completely denied being the father of the pregnancy in question and accused Yvonne Nelson of engaging in promiscuous behavior with multiple partners.

Sarkodie described Yvonne Nelson as someone who projected a cool image but secretly engaged in relationships with different individuals, resulting in a pregnancy that he believed was not his.

He further explained that despite being unprepared to become a father at the time, he suggested that Yvonne Nelson keep the baby.

But Yvonne Nelson has also hit back at Sarkodie following the release of the rapper’s song.

In a Twitter post sighted by Metrotvonline.com, the actor and producer felt offended by the words Sarkodie used to describe her in the song. According to Yvonne, Sarkodie has revealed his true nature that he does not respect womanhood.

She further stood by her claims that whatever she revealed in her book is nothing but the truth.

“Insults won’t work Michael. Respect womanhood, I’m happy the world gets to see how you are playing this and the real you. Young women get to learn from this. You would get applause for a rap. still doesn’t change the TRUTH,” a twitter post by Yvonne Nelson read.
