In a bid to foster harmony and tranquility within the Muslim community amidst the impending 2024 elections, the Kpone Katamanso Municipal Imam’s Council and Chiefs convened for the inaugural Ramadan and Peace Conference.

The theme, “Peaceful Co-existence: A Panacea for Development,” underscored the crucial role of unity in propelling communal progress.

During the conference, leaders from the council and chiefs emphatically implored politicians to desist from exploiting Muslim youth as instruments of violence during the electoral process.

The admonition came as a stern reminder of the detrimental consequences of incitement and manipulation, particularly in the fragile socio-political landscape.
