Commuters at Lapaz Tema station are sounding the alarm over the increasing misuse of the station as a dumping ground for refuse. Drivers, sellers, and passengers who frequent the station have expressed serious concerns about the potential health risks posed by the accumulating waste.
The situation has escalated to the point where fears of a cholera outbreak are looming over the heads of those who depend on the station for their daily commute and livelihood. The unsanitary conditions, if left unaddressed, could lead to severe health implications for the entire community.
In a plea for immediate action, they are urging local authorities to intervene and implement measures to rectify the situation.
