The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 13th African Games has presented a proposed transportation plan to the Technical Committee of the African Games (TCAG) Accra 2023.
President of the African Paralympic Committee, Samson Deen, who also serves as portfolio head for transportation andProtocol for Accra 2023 African Games, made a presentation on transportation arrangements and protocol guide for the games handbook for the upcoming African Games to members of the TCAG as part of preparations towards hosting a successful African Games.
“There will be a vehicle allocation for games to ensure the transportation and movement of athletes and officials is very soon,” he said during his presentation.
Ghana made history when its capital city hosted the first ever African Paralympic Games from the 3rd to the 12th of September, 2023, and the city of Accra will host over Thirteen Thousand accredited delegates by hosting the 2023 African Games, which starts from the 8th and 23rd of March 2024.
The opening ceremony of the 13th African Games is slated for Friday, March 8, 2024.
