NPP Bawku Central PC promises to unite party faithful for victory in 2024 elections 

The newly-elected New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate for the Bawku Central constituency Paul Alale Agobire has promised to unite members of the party for victory come December 2024.

Delegates of the New Patriotic Party in the Bawku Central constituency on Saturday elected Paul Agobire as their parliamentary candidate.

In contest of six aspirants, Paul Alale Agobire, an educationist, secured 175 votes against his close contender Lawyer Tahiru Nambe who had 174.

The rest include the NPP parliamentary candidate for the 2016 and 2020 elections Madam Gabiana Abugri who got 33 votes, whilst Salifu Bashiru, a businessman had 35 votes. Amadu Mogtar and Mahmud Zakari had 162 and 102 votes respectively.

In a speech, Paul Agobire promised to unite all the other seven contestants who lost to him in order to secure the seat from Mahama Ayariga and the NDC.
