Otto Addo to announce Ghana squad for FIFA World Cup 2022

Head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana Otto Addo is expected to latter this morning announced the 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Ghana Football Association announced on Thursday.

The final squad will be named at a press conference at the Multichoice Office in Accra.

After Dortmund’s Bundesliga encounter against Monchengladbach, Addo, who also works for the German club, will be available for the Black Stars.

Two weeks ago, Otto Addo announced a preliminary squad of 55 players.

In consultation with the rest of the technical team, the head coach will announce a final 26 squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

On November 24, Ghana takes on Portugal to start its World Cup campaign. South Korea and Uruguay will thereafter play Ghana.

The Black Stars’ final warm-up game will be against Switzerland in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on November 26.
