Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency, Sam George has lambasted Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for exhibiting his football skills in the wake of the nation’s present predicament.
Sam George described the Vice President’s actions in the said video as ‘Abufus3m’ – loosely translated, annoying.
Ghanaians woke up on Wednesday to a video of Dr. Bawumia urging the Black Star players to give their all in their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign to win the trophy.
In the video, it captures the Vice President donned in the men’s senior national team shirt exhibiting his football skills
Since the video was first shared online, it has received a wide range of positive responses.
However, the Ningo Prampram lawmaker, Sam George took offense at the Vice President’s goodwill video and berated him.
He wondered why Dr. Bawumia who is the head of the Economic Management Team will be flaunting his football skills despite the current economic hardships.
“Fix the economy, Bawumia.” The NDC MP tweeted.
“You were sold to us as an Economic Wizkid not Black Stars captain,” – he reminded the Vice President of his role.
