Snakes chasing Gomoa East DCE from office

The Gomoa East District Assembly was thrown into chaos on Monday when snakes were spotted in the office of the District Chief Executive (DCE), Solomon Darko Quarm.

The DCE, who was holding a meeting at the time, was forced to abandon proceedings and call for security personnel to intervene after spotting a snake in his office.

The security personnel, Asamoah, bravely killed the snake, but not before it had caused widespread fear among staff and visitors to the assembly.

The incident has sparked concerns about the safety of the assembly’s premises, which are surrounded by overgrown bushes and weeds.

Staff at the assembly have expressed fears about the possibility of snake attacks, citing previous sightings of reptiles on the premises.

They are calling for urgent fumigation and weeding of the surroundings to prevent future incidents.

The incident has disrupted activities at the assembly, with staff gathering in small groups to discuss the incident.

Metro TV has learned that this is not the first time snakes have been spotted at the assembly, and staff are demanding action from management to ensure their safety.
