Special Delegates Conference: Bawumia, Alan, and Ken Agyapong will make the top three —  Ngleshie Amanfrom MP

Member of Parliament for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom Constituency Sylvester Tetteh has revealed that the ruling NPP’s super delegates election is a battle for inclusivity, an election for an additional two to add up to the already known three.

He indicated that former Trade Minister, Alan Kyeremantang, Assin North MP Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia are the surest three.

Slyvester Tetteh pointed out on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV on Thursday, August 24 that any NPP sympathizer will mention the aforementioned aspirants as the top three when asked.

“Saturday’s election is a battle for two additions for the three known personalities that will make it to the top five, in this case, looking at Alan Kyeremantang, Kennedy Agyapong, and the vice president [Dr. Bawumia] are likely or known to be standing out of the ten, so the Saturday’s election is seeking to add to more to these three gentlemen whom I have mentioned,” Tetteh Sylvester explained.

Sylvester Tetteh further detailed the Alan Campaign’s step-by-step activities before, during, and after the elections slated for Saturday 26th August 2023 at the party’s regional offices.

“Alan Kyeremantang is on his way to the northern regions today, I believe he should be in Tamale already. Yesterday we met the national executive committee of our party, We have met everybody that is being needed to speak to in respect to the Super Delegates Elections.”

The pro-Alan Kyerematen MP emphatically stated that as a party the team’s attention is not on the Super Delegates Elections, but the focus is on November 4th, 2023, and also looking beyond the elections with the real deal later on in the year, where the NPP will sell its candidate.

“People keep putting out numbers 90%, the numbers keep being reviewed as the days as we getting closer to it, 90% victory, we they were going wipe wash the other aspirants, it’s reducing to 70-60% now they can’t even be sure of the numbers they will be getting again, the Greater Accra where I am in charge I will beat them to it and for me, this super delegates will post a very good picture for November 4th.”

“We are looking to over 280,000 delegates going to select a leader for our party. We have made our point and still making our point to the delegates that we put a candidate that has a less risk of losing the next election, While people talk of breaking the eight we may be losing the fact of the other side of the coin because there are always two sides of the coin,” Sylvester Tetteh addressed.

Sylvester Tetteh concluded that the NPP shall prevail no matter what and those who will vote for the party will definitely do.

“We have given them that candidate which is the best bet, and the strategies Alan Kyeremantang has spoken has left them wowed and things will go better,” he said.
