We’ve not approved any body enhancement product – FDA cautions Ghanaians

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has warned the public against using unapproved body enhancement products advertised on social media.

The FDA issued the warning after a Ghanaian entertainer promoted such products on social media, claiming they could enlarge body parts.

The FDA stated that it has not approved any product for body part enlargement and urged Ghanaians to refrain from purchasing these unregulated items.

The FDA is currently investigating reports of such products and plans to take action against distributors.

The efficacy of such products has not been scientifically proven, and there are concerns they may damage internal organs such as kidneys.

The FDA emphasized that it is not mandated to oversee products with spiritual claims.

The public has been urged to report any concerns to the FDA.
