Dr. Ayew Afriyie, the Vice President’s campaign coordinator in the Ashanti Region, said that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, will present better and alternative policies in the upcoming weeks in preparation for the general elections of 2024.
He disproved the idea that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is wasting his time criticizing former President Mahama instead of discussing measures that will persuade Ghanaians to vote for him.
He maintains that teasing is an inherent aspect of politics and that Dr. Bawumia will retort with similar vigor if necessary.
The Member of Parliament for Effiduase/Asokore emphasizes that Dr. Bawumia is the most qualified candidate to govern the nation because of the favorable feedback he has gotten thus far on his thank-you tour.
Speaking to media in Kumasi, Dr. Afriyie discussed the Vice President’s meeting with religious leaders.
“It’s not a kind that is so different. You see people attest in the North that I am not an NPP. Me and my family, we are supporting Dr. Bawumia. Dr. Bawumia has a lot up his sleeves. He will throw a lot of jabs at Mahama. Bawumia will tell us where we have to go. He is the best man for the job.”
