In a surprising turn of events, 309 delegates from various Electoral Areas of the Adentan Constituency have thrown their support behind Alfred Ababio Kumi, also known as Adenta Kumi, by providing financial backing of Ghs7,430 and picking the NPP parliamentary nomination forms on his behave.

This grassroots movement has sparked intrigue and speculation within political circles as observers talk of Kumi as a great force against the Incumbent Member of Parliament for Adentan Constituency.

Adenta Kumi, who is the old horse in the Adentan NPP Parliamentary Candidate race expressed surprise, saying, “This is the first of its kind, if it’s a dream I need to wake up” to one of his campaign coordinators, Mr. Andy Amankwaa who represents the 309 delegates.

According to Mr. Amankwaa, the highest contributor was a polling station chairman in Otanor, which is the same Electoral Area, Adenta Kumi is a polling chairman.

The said chairman contributed GHS115 and the lowest contribution was a GHS10 donation.

He further went on to say that, the 309 contributors have studied Kumi since the 2020 NPP Adentan parliamentary primaries and they believe in his vision and are in love with his character.

From the information we have gathered on the grounds, Alfred Ababio Kumi emerges as a promising candidate who will give NPP more than two terms thanks to his vision, character, and the unwavering support of delegates.

These delegates, who act as executives of their respective polling stations, have recognized something unique in Adenta Kumi, leading them to invest their faith and funds in his candidacy.
