Ampem Darkoa Ladies Football Club have arrived in Nigeria, Benin City for the WAFU Zone B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.
The 2023 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League winners will be competing in the qualifiers for the second time hoping to grab the single slot available to represent the Zone in Ivory Coast later this year.
The Dormaa-based side beat competition from the Northern Zone and Hasacass Ladies later in the champions of champions.
The hardworking team made it a double when they beat faith ladies to crown the season.
The team left the shores of Ghana via Africa World Airlines yesterday and arrived today.
The tournament kicks start tomorrow, 18th August 2023, and ends on September 3.
