Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies will arrive in Accra on Saturday, after clinching Gold at the third edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B qualifiers in Nigeria.
The team will depart Lagos at 8:30pm in Nigeria and arrive at terminal 3 of the Kotoka International Airport at 8:30pm (Ghana Time).
The Ghanaian champions were unbeaten in the entire competition keeping a winning run from the Group stage through to the final.
A first-half goal from striker Ophelia Amponsah ensured the Ghanaian champions sealed qualification to the main Champions League tournament in Ivory Coast in November.
