President of Ghana Athletics, Bawa Fuseini, has heaped praises on the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for a successful African Games.

According to him, the Confederation of African Athletics was impressed with the country hosting of the 13th African Games and it was one of the best in the last twenty years in Africa.

He said the turnout at the stadia was applaudable and that the African Games has left a mark in the hearts of the athletes and Ghanaians.

‘’They were happy with how the stadium was packed and the supports they got from the fans,’’ the Ghana Athletics President said.

The 13th African Games has been Ghana’s most successful participation since its inception with Ghana basking 6 medals from athletics and 68 medals overall.
