E.T. Mensah’s body arrives in Ghana for burial

The remains of the late former MP for Ningo-Prampram, E.T. Mensah has arrived in Ghana.

This came about after a delegation of NDC leaders visited South Africa to finalize plans to fly his body back to the United States.

Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo, a former Greater Accra Regional Minister and former Member of Parliament for the Kpone-Katamanso Constituency, served as the leader of the group sent by the party and leadership. He currently serves as Kpone-Katamanso’s interim chief.

The other three are Diana Nortey, the Queen Mother of Prampram, Ebenezer Mensah, the younger brother of E.T. Mensah, and Ade Coker, the former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC.

Enoch Teye Mensah (born on May 17, 1946) served as Ghana’s Minister of Education and a Member of Parliament in Ghana from January 1997 till January 2017.

The NDC South African Chapter, led by Benjamin Kofi Quashie and other chapter executives and members who have been coordinating with the family and the party since the passing of the party stalwart, welcomed the delegation upon their arrival.

He was popularly referred to as ET Mensah and was married with seven children.
