Election 2024: NPP needs collaborative effort to break the eight – NR SMPC Chairman

The Northern Regional Chairman for Social Media and Publicity Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Iddrisu Eliasu also known as Elee Waala has called on all party members and sympathizers to collaborate effectively to make the breaking the eight mantra a reality.

The chairman made the call at this year’s get-together for social media influencers of the party in the Northern Region.

The governing New Patriotic Party has seen the importance of social media in electioneering campaigns and has therefore constituted social media and publicity committees across the country to help sell the good works and manifesto promises of the party on social media.

In the Northern Region, the group is always celebrated at the end or beginning of every year, aiming at thanking them for their good work.

Addressing the group at this year’s get-together, the Northern Regional Chairman for Social Media and Publicity Committee Iddrisu Eliasu called on all members of the party to collaborate effectively with each other to ensure that the breaking the eight agenda is achieved.

He also charged all social media communicators of the party to write or say something positive about the party and government at every given opportunity

Explaining the good works of the government, the Northern Regional Chairman of the group used the opportunity to call on all ministers, MMDCES, Members of Parliament, CEOs of public institutions, and other governmental institutions to always furnish the group with accurate and factual information to enable them sell the good name of the government accurately and factually.

On her part, Hajia Raabi Salifu, National Deputy Communication Director of the party, charged the communicators to respond to every ‘lie’ by the opposition NDC, stating that former President Mahama is an old wine in a new bottle.
