Ghana ready to host African Games – LOC Member

A member of the Local Organizing Committee of the African Games Dan Kwaku Yeboah has expressed Ghana’s preparedness to welcome over 50 countries from the continent for the African Games.

The African Games, formerly known as the All-Africa Games or the Pan African Games, is slated to take place from 8th match to 23rd match 2024 in Ghana.

Ghana is expecting over fifty African nations in the country to participate in the African games, the African games is continental multi-sport event held every four years.

Speaking to Nana Kweku Mensah commonly called Kaninja, a member of the Local Organizing Committee for the African Games, Dan Kwaku Yeboah, said all necessary preparations for the games to be successful have been put in place in anticipation for the commencement of the continent’s biggest sporting activities.

“We are ready to host the African Games,‘’he said.

The 13th African games is scheduled to take place in Accra and Cape Coast and it is the first time Ghana is hosting.
