Ghanaians need a tolerant person like Bawumia as president – Tiah Abdul-Kabiru Mahama

Technical Advisor at the Office of the Vice President, Dr. Tiah Kabiru Mahama says Ghanaians are in dire need of a selfless and tolerant leader to reshape and redefine the economic structure of the country.

During his submission on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana with Dr. Randy Abbey, Dr. Kabiru Mahama emphasized that former President John Mahama and Vice President and presidential hopeful, Dr. Bawumia will be thoroughly scrutinized by Ghanaians and the best man will be given the nod in 2025 as President which Dr. Bawumia is the best bet

“Unfortunately, Mr. John Mahama has one similar character to that of Mr. Bawumia which is the humility part, but it is clear that Ghanaians will be looking for a leader who is humble, a leader who is not corruptible, a leader who has clarity of vision, a leader who can articulate the vision so much so that every Ghanaian will move along with that vision. The Ghanaian people will also want someone who is tolerant. Someone who will accommodate decent and someone who will tolerate the views no matter how hurting those views are,” Dr. Kabiru Mahama said.

He stressed the need for a leader with credibility and a proven track record to address generational problems and corruption, highlighting the role of Dr. Bawumia as a problem solver and anti-corruption advocate through championed policies.

“The Vice President understands that this election is going to be a contest of character, a contest of records, a contest of message, this three major parts will play very well in the election, and when we say contest of record, the vice president will not run away and I recall he said he will not shy away from any presidential debate, that when he is called to account as vice president what I was able to support the president  to do, I will do that with my head straight and I will do that without any fear.”
