Our healthcare system faces significant challenges – Okoe-Boye

At the 2024 Annual Health Summit held today in Accra, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, the Minister of Health Designate, highlighted the significant challenges facing Ghana’s healthcare system.

The year under review has seen the health sector grappling with accumulated bills, particularly concerning ongoing health projects initiated by the Ministry.

He stated that a robust healthcare system is paramount and assured that the government will provide the necessary support to guarantee quality health for every Ghanaian.

Both ministers’ statements underscore the government’s dedication to addressing the pressing issues within the healthcare system and improving the overall health infrastructure of the country.
