The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced the prize monies for the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.

According to the GFA President, Kurt Edwin Okraku who was speaking at the launch of the new season held at the Eastern Premier Hotel in Koforidua, Eastern Region emphasized that the earnings for the league have significantly increased.

Per the announcement, the champions of the league will take home GHC 500,000.00 which is compared to GHC300,000.00 earned by Medeama Sporting Club, the reigning champions for last season.

With this latest announcement by Kurt Okraku, the winner of the 2023/24 league season will receive GHC.500,000 as the prize money for topping the table, together with a trophy and 40 medals.

The second-placed team will be awarded GHC. 200,000, and the third-placed team will receive GHC. 100,000. Kurt Okraku further added this season’s campaign will have clubs finishing from 4th to 10th awarded some cash at the end of the campaign.
