Parliamentary Select Committee Member on Sports Collins Adomako Mensah says he is embarrassed and ashamed of Ghana’s woeful performance in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana failed to win a single match in Group B, drawing with Egypt and Mozambique and losing to Cape Verde

With just two points it became the second consecutive time Ghana got eliminated in the group stage.

Speaking with Nana Kwaku Mensah popularly called kaninja on Original FM, Collins Adomako Mensah who is also the Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North expressed his disappointed with the performance of the Black Stars in the tournament.

‘’I am embarrassed of their performance and we should bow our heads in shame,’’ he said.

Meanwhile, the GFA has faced criticism following the Black Stars’ disappointing performance in the AFCON 2023 campaign, with some calling for a complete overhaul of the association.

During a conference with the media held on Wednesday in Kumasi, GFA President Kurt Okraku emphasized the importance of taking a holistic approach to address the challenges and problems facing the senior national team.
