A member of the NDC National Communication Team, Mr. Courage Makafui Nunekpeku has emphasized the pivotal role of job creation in addressing various societal issues.

Mr. Nunekpeku expressed concerns over the perceived failure of the current government led by President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia, citing what he deemed as ineffective policies.

He made this known during a discussion with Kwaku Owusu Adjei (Patoo) on Adwenekasa on Accra-based Original 91. 9FM.

He highlighted a significant increase in the unemployment rate, which he claimed rose from around 7.9% during the NDC’s tenure to approximately 14.7% under the current administration.

Mr. NuneKpeku argued that, ”despite the government’s intervention programs, it has not succeeded in curbing unemployment effectively.”

The discussion underscored the ongoing debate surrounding job creation and its impact on addressing pressing national issues.
