Theresa Kufuor, the late former First Lady, has been honored by the former president John Agyekum Kufuor’s press secretary.
In a statement released on Monday, Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong referred to the former First Lady as a “mother to all” who continuously showed compassion and love to people in need.
“Always ready with a kind word of wise counsel, Auntie Theresa opened her heart and home to all. She took me in as a son and on countless occasions I enjoyed her culinary skills,” portions of his statement read.
After a protracted illness, Madam Kufuor passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was 87-year-old age.
Mr. Agyepong revealed his honest emotions in addition to expressing his profound gratitude for the crucial part the former First Lady played in his life. , saying, “Auntie Theresa will be sorely missed by my wife Lawrencia and our kids.
