Listen to other stakeholders – Eastern Regional Minister tells GFA

Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Acheampong has advised the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to listen to other stakeholders and not their colleagues only.

Speaking at the launch of the 2023/2024 Betpawa Ghana Premier League season in Koforidua, the politician advised the Football Association leaders to avail themselves for suggestions, contributions, and views from individuals or stakeholders outside the football environment.

He emphasized that doing that opens the Association to a wide range of ideas which can go a long way to help improve the Association.

“I will urge the Association leadership to also listen to outsiders and not only Football people,” he said.

“That is the difference with us the politicians. We listen to people outside our jurisdiction and that helps us to mold our next line of action and it does help. So, I will advise the Association to do same,” he concluded.

The minister also added that Ghanaians as football-loving people need to embrace the dynamics and changes in the game and support our local products.

The betPawa Ghana Premier League is set to begin on the weekend of 15th-18th September 2023.
