‘Mahama’s 24-hour economy is empty’-Barker-Vormawor

Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor, a private attorney and the organizer of the #FixTheCountry Movement, has come out strongly against former President John Mahama and his proposed 24-hour economic strategy.

Barker-Vormawor characterized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer’s proposal as a curious choice for a flagship agenda and said it lacked substance in a Facebook post.

Barker-Vormawor disregarded Mahama’s 24-hour economic agenda, calling it nothing more than spin and double-dealing.

He maintained that the policy does not adequately address Ghana’s urgent problems and underlined the necessity for more doable and efficient solutions in order to bring about significant change.

The #FixTheCountry Movement convenor’s criticism draws attention to the ongoing debates about political agendas and the need for comprehensive policies to address the opportunities and problems facing Ghana’s economy.

Mahama has stressed the significance of the 24-hour economy in the meantime.

During the national policy discourse of the National Democratic Congress, Mahama said that the policy is the most reliable means of achieving notable economic growth in the nation.

He thinks the program will provide hope to the disgruntled and hopeless populace by increasing productivity, reducing imports, and creating well-paying jobs.

The disagreement between Barker-Vormawor and Mahama highlights the disparities in political viewpoints and the necessity of deliberate and significant initiatives to strengthen Ghana’s economy.
