‘Mate’ Bawumia can’t call his driver ‘Akufo-Addo’ to order? – Nana Akua Avle quizzes

A Communications Team Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Nana Akua Avle, says Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia cannot deceive Ghanaians for the second time.

Speaking on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV, Madam Akua Avle splashed cold water on the promise of Dr. Bawumia, who is the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic party to scrap some controversial taxes.

“Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who came to promise Ghanaians heaven on earth sat down and passed E-Levy, fought about it, and even went to the extent of bringing a sick member of parliament to come and vote for the  E-Levy, and it is so pathetic that these same people sat and listened to Bawumia tell us today that he is coming to cancel E- levy, betting tax, scrap emissions tax and stabilize the cedi in his next world,” she said.

Nana Akua Avle touted the 20-hour economic policy by the opposition leader John Dramani Mahama, stating that it is a novelty and further criticized the current administration.

She explained that the 24-hour economy will help citizens run shifts while attending to other equally pertinent things thus taking care of the families personally and performing their social duties as well.

The NDC Communications team member said, “Dr Bawumia cannot fool (sic) Ghanaians for the second time, this is the time Ghanaians need to have a change of mind.”

She added, “The things going on in this country are very sad therefore in everything you do  remember the ordinary Ghanaian, the people who made you realize your dreams to become president must be respected.“
