My ‘I Lied’ song wasn’t part of my PR strategies to bounce back  – KiDi

Dennis Nana Kwaku Dwamena known in showbiz circles as KiDi has clarified that his ‘I Lied’ song was not part of his public relations strategies to ‘resurrect’ his career returning to the music scene after a short hiatus amidst speculations that he was down with a stroke.

In an exclusive interview with Original TV, the ‘Touch It’ hitmaker explained to Akosua Boahemaa that claiming sickness when there was none will be rude and will never be part of his euphoria creation on any new song release.

“I want through a phase; the tongue is very power and the way I have been trained I would never play around with something like this when I haven’t seen malaria or any form of sickness, I won’t do that I’m back refreshed and ready to give more out,” he said.

KiDi also added that public relations on releasing songs are done everywhere in the world but not all such things come from their camp and that very often people elsewhere create this negative energy without thinking of repercussions.

“Ghanaians, just like any other people, are quick to believe whatever things they hear. But the instances that when we are about to drop songs we do because we get PR and stuff but this one is not one of them,” KiDi observed.

The Lynx Entertainment signee disclosed how important spirituality is to him and wouldn’t hesitate to pray because he is very spiritual, and his Christian background has played a vital role in his career.

“I don’t play around my prayer life, even when I have a dream and don’t find it funny or can’t seem to understand it, I pray about it thoroughly. How much more such negative comments being spoken against your life, and for that few weeks everyone that mentioned my name was backed by negativity or sickness which wasn’t a good thing, and knowing the power the tongue behold, I prayed earnestly about it. So, I had to clear everything and we all know that the tongue can proclaim and it will come into existence, so it was a moment of prayer for my whole family,” he disclosed.

KiDi urged the general public to reject negative rumours and treat them with the contempt they deserve.
