Over 170 suspects have been arrested at Aboabo market in Tamale after the police carried out an operation in the late hours of last night.

This operation comes after opinion leaders and residents of Tamale have been complaining of criminals using the market in the night for their activities, posing danger to the well-being of well-meaning Ghanaians in the area.

Metro news’ checks at the Northern regional police headquarters indicate that the suspects will be screened for appropriate actions to be taken.
