Reduce duties on inverted appliances to boost importation of energy-saving products — David Forson to govt

General Manager of Obiri Engineering Limited, David Forson, has urged the government to reduce the duties on inverted appliances to enable sector players to import energy-saving appliances into the country.

He was speaking at a seminar to promote technological advancement.

The seminar which was aimed at advancing technology, also focused on Aux commercial air conditioners in Ghana. The seminar which brought together players in the tech space saw the sharing of ideas, networking, and creation of meaningful connections with both customers and potential partners of Aux.

Speaking to Metro News on the sidelines, David Forson, the General Manager of Obiri Engineering Limited said more effort must be put into advancing the use of inverted air conditioners in the country.

He added Ghanaians must develop a maintenance culture to enable their home or company appliances to last longer.

The Seminar also saw various presentations on the operations of aux and the newly introduced aux air conditioners on the Ghanaian market.
