The head coach of Kpando Heart of Lions has explained that the linesman who disallowed his side’s first goal of the 2023/2024 BetPawa Ghana Premier League season would handle things differently on second thought.

Coach Salifu Fatawu said on Original 91. 9 FM on Monday morning that it was a painful decision to accept and even for the referee on the lines, he would be circumspect given another chance.

“It is unfortunate we were at the receiving end of such a decision but given a second chance, the referee will do things differently”, he explained.

“We went into the game to win but unfortunately we couldn’t so we will continue to fight on and look forward to the next game”, he added.

Heart of Lions head back to my alternative home, Red Bull Arena in Sogakope, and play Great Olympics in week two of the ongoing BetPawa Ghana Premier League season.
