Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is optimistic leading the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the 2024 presidential election will help the party break the eight.
According to him, his competencies plus zero tolerance for tomfoolery are the surest bets for the elephant party to retain the high office.
Speaking on Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV hosted by Paul Adom Otchere on Tuesday, the NPP presidential hopeful justified why he is aspiring to lead the nation.
“With me, NPP will break the eight. With Kennedy Agyapong, well, it will be tough,” Mr. Agyapong asserted.
Kennedy Agyapong further indicated that former President John Dramani Mahama’s reelection will be a nightmare.
The outspoken politician opines the 2020 flagbearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a bad leader and should be rejected in his rerun bid.
Mr. Agyapong said he is the best person to rescue Ghana from its economic woes successive governments have plunged the country into with his expertise as an astute businessman.
“From his track record, he needs just one term (four years) even when he knew that if he manages the economy well he will have another term opportunity but he could not even do it. Now that he has just term time God knows what this man is coming to do,” the outspoken legislator noted
