2023 CAF Women’s Champions League:Ampem Darkoa duo makes CAF’s best XI.

Ampem Darkoa’s deputy captain, Jennifer Owusuaa, and Comfort Yeboah have both been named as part of the best eleven players drawn from the just-ended competition in Ivory Coast.

The winger and defender were both instrumental in the Techiman-based club’s maiden exploits on the continent, scoring important goals while at it.

The Ghanaian side, even though losing out on the bronze medal to defending champions, As Far, turned heads with great play, topping group B and beating defending the champions in their first game of the tournament.

Comfort Yeboah got the most talked about equalizer for Ampem Darkoa in the tournament opener getting fans across the globe glued to her play whereas the slippery winger, Jennifer scored long-range goals which got Ghanaians comparing her to players in the men’s division.

Jennifer, 19, is yet to feature for any of the women’s national teams but is confident of a study footballing career.
The duo have returned to their mother club in Techiman and have resumed training for the 2023/2024 Malta Guinness women’s premier league, which has already commenced five weeks ago.
