2024 Elections: Mahama To Launch Presidential Campaign Today In Ho

As part of his bid to relaunch his presidential ambition, former President John Dramani Mahama is set to launch his campaign today, March 2nd, 2023 in the Volta Region.

The campaign launch which will take place at the Cedi Auditorium at the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho will be under the theme “Building The Ghana We Want Together.”

The campaign launch is expected to win the former President the coveted flagbearer role of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2024 Presidential Elections.

In an announcement on his Facebook on Wednesday, Mr. Mahama said, “Fellow countrymen and women, I will on Thursday March 02, 2023 launch my bid to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the 2024 elections at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) in Sokode near Ho. I invite you to either join me in the Cedi Auditorium at UHAS or watch a livestream of the launch on my Facebook page or YouTube channel from 9.00am.”

Aside from the former president, Dr. Kwabena Duffour, a former Finance Minister, Kojo Bonsu, a former Mayor of Kumasi, and Ernest Kobeah, a 43-year-old businessman based in the United Kingdom, are all running for the job.
