The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) has released the match and tournament schedule for wheelchair basketball at the upcoming African Paralympic Games in Accra.

Both men and women will compete for their respective national teams in Wheelchair Basketball for medals, with the teams grouped into pools of three teams each.

The Men’s and Women’s Pool A consists of hosts, Ghana, Algeria and Uganda.

Pool B is made up of Egypt, Kenya and Senegal.

Pool C has South Africa, Nigeria and Central African Republic.

Pool D is also made up of Morocco, Angola and DR Congo.

The host, Ghana will see their women lock horns with Morocco women on 4th September, whilst Ghana Men will also come up against Uganda men in the first round of games.

The Accra 2023 Paralympic Games will commence on the 3rd to the 12th of September, the tournament will be the first ever para games held on the continent.
