The Africa Prosperity Network (APN), in collaboration with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat and the Office of the President of the Republic of Ghana, is set to launch the inaugural Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2025.

The event is scheduled for Monday, May 13, 2024, and will be held at the Africa Trade House, the AfCFTA Secretariat’s headquarters in Accra.

The APD 2025 launch, a side event of the prestigious 3i Africa Summit, aims to spotlight the critical need for substantial investments in integrated infrastructure networks. Such advancements are essential for enhancing the seamless connectivity of people, businesses, and markets across the continent.

The ceremony will feature insightful presentations and discussions, focusing on strategies to expedite infrastructure development, promote regional integration, and maximize the opportunities afforded by the AfCFTA.

Distinguished guests and speakers, including His Excellency Albert M Muchanga, African Union Commission’s Trade and Industry Commissioner; His Excellency Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA Secretariat; and Solomon Quaynor, Vice President of the African Development Bank Group, will grace the event.

Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, the Executive Chairman of APN, emphasized the significance of infrastructure for economic growth and regional integration. “APD 2025 will act as a pivotal force in rallying African stakeholders to invest in transformative infrastructure projects, thereby unleashing the continent’s immense potential,” he stated.

The event will also host a panel discussion, offer networking opportunities, and facilitate interactions with key policymakers, development partners, private sector leaders, and civil society organizations dedicated to propelling Africa’s prosperity forward.

About the Africa Prosperity Network (APN): The APN is a non-profit private entity established to further the vision of “the Africa We Want,” as delineated in the African Union’s Agenda 2063. The organization is committed to fostering Africa’s advancement without reliance on external aid.
