Alan Cash To Address The Public Today After Quitting NPP Flagbearership Contest

Former NPP flagbearer aspirant, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen will address the public today [Monday, September, 25] following his decision to withdraw from the party’s November 4 presidential primaries.

According to various sources, the press conference will address the former Minister of Trade and Industry’s political future and other related issues.

The address will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

While announcing his decision to withdraw from the race on September 5 after the super delegates’ conference in which he shockingly emerged third, he cited electoral irregularities, unfair treatment, and bias during the super delegates’ conference.

Reports from sources within the camp of Alan Kyerematen indicate that barring any last-minute change of plans, he will be resigning from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) tomorrow, September 25, 2023.

Other sources say Mr. Kyerematen has already drafted his resignation letter, awaiting the opportunity to submit it to the party’s leadership tomorrow.
