Central University signs MOU with BEINGOD Ltd to construct Hostel Village

As part of efforts to meet the increasing number of students admitted into the Central University each year, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed with BEINGOD Ltd to provide over 5,000 bed capacity for the first phase of the project.

Admitting over 2,000 students each year without hostel facilities can be challenging for both students and school authorities. the perennial challenges first-year and continuing students face in securing accommodation on the university’s campus persist.

This is due to lack of hostel accommodation. the BEINGOD LTD delegation led by the Managing Director, John Ekow Otoo was welcomed by the vice- chancellor, prof. Bill Buenar Puplampu to the signing ceremony of Central University campus.

Vice chancellor of the Central University, Prof. Bill Puplampu said, it’s in the plan for the University to have an on-campus hostel village that will house a greater percentage of students in the University.

John Ekow Otoo on behalf of the team thanked management of the University and assured his commitment towards making the agreement a reality. The hostel when completed, will address residential challenges as well as security issues on campus.
