Church of Pentecost declares 3-days fast over economic crisis

The Church of Pentecost in Ghana is urging its members to embark on a 3-day fasting and prayers starting November 10 over Ghana’s economic crisis.

According to the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, the Church’s Executive Council arrived at the decision in the wake of economic hardship being experienced in the country.

“It is apparent that the country for some time now has been going through some economic challenges which threaten the peace and security of the nation.

“The church in times like this has a divine responsibility to intercede for the nation,” he said.

Addressing the congregation on Sunday, the Chairman of COP, Apostle Eric Nyamekye told the members to adhere to the directive.
