Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana to resume work on Thursday

Members of the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) are expected to resume work by no later than Thursday, September 7, 2023.

This comes after the Association voted to end its strike action on Monday, September 4.

CETAG has been on strike for over a month demanding a better condition of service.

However, the majority of CETAG members voted in favour of discontinuing the strike.

“On the basis of the voting outcome above, the strike is suspended/call-off based on a majority decision with effect from Tuesday, 5th September 2023. CETAG shall advise itself if by 31st of October, 2023 all the Arbitral Awards have not been implemented by the Employer/Ministry of Education,” the CETAG announced in a statement.
