Competence will supersede race in appointing our next coach – Hearts of Oak PRO

The official spokesperson of Accra Hearts of Oak,  Kwame Opare Addo in an interview has said the team will consider competence not race in the appointment of their next gaffer.

Responding to the club’s inability to land a manager before preseason begins, the experienced communicator maintained the race of the next manager is irrelevant but competence will be key.

“We are looking at appointing a new Competence manager. It doesn’t necessarily matter if he is a black man or white,” Opare expanded.

The football giants have had a torrid time in employing the right manager and Opare believes it is time to appoint a competent handler no matter his race.

The soft-spoken administrator added their next batch of Technical announcements would include a substantive manager and his assistant.

Hearts of Oak have been without a manager after the departure of assistant coach, David Ocloo at the end of the 2022/2023 betPawa Premier League season.
