Daniel Sowatey donates to Ghana Division 3 Side, African Child SC

African Child Sporting Club of the Greater Accra Division 3 has received donations of soccer jerseys and other football equipment from Daniel Sowatey, a Ghanaian international who plays for San Gwann FC of the Maltese Challenge League.

The squad received a donation of footballs, bibs, cones, and sets of uniforms to use at the team’s practice facility at the Teshie Community Park.

Daniel Sowatey and the San Gwann Football Club were sincerely thanked for their contributions by the elated coaches and players of the Sambo4 FC Football Club after receiving the items.

Speaking during the donation, the captain of African Child Sporting Club, Wisdom Amponsah, said, “On behalf of the team, we’d like to say a big thank you to San Gwann and Sirens Football Club for their kind gesture. We are so appreciative. We promise to use the equipment to its maximum potential.”

The elated skipper also expressed gratitude to San Gwann FC defender Daniel Sowatey, saying, “We can’t thank him [Sowatey] enough; all we can say is thank you.”

The head coach for the club, Michael Adjetey Okrang, couldn’t hide his joy after leading his team to receive the donations.

“Some players make it and they forget where they came from, but Daniel didn’t forget us. I am so happy for what he has done for us. God richly bless the Sowatey Foundation”, the coach said and also added, “The kits will help us because it’s so difficult buying them here.” Thank you, Sirens FC and San Gwann FC”.
