Popular Ghanaian comedian Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng known in the showbiz circles as Funny Face has been involved in an accident at Kakraba Junction near Kasoa.
The incident occurred on Sunday, March 24.
There have been reports of casualties after his vehicle struck multiple people, according to sources on the scene.
Funny Face has been dealing with mental health problems for a few months and was just released from a mental health facility.
Eyewitnesses say he lost control of his vehicle due to intoxication which caused the accident.
All five people knocked down by the comedian’s vehicle are currently receiving medical treatment.
