Comedian Funny Face has been transferred from the Millennium City District Police Station to the Central East Regional MTTD Command, Metro TV can report.

Meanwhile, two persons whose injuries are critical have been transferred to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra while the other victims have also been transferred to the Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa.

Background

Ghanaian comedian Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng known in the showbiz circles as Funny Face was involved in an accident at Kakraba Junction near Kasoa on Sunday, March 24.

Eyewitnesses say the actor lost control of his vehicle due to intoxication which caused the accident.

Funny Face was subsequently arrested to assist the police in investigations.
