Communications Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr. Kwame Opare Addo has hinted that the Phobians will kick start preseason on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Pobiman with their technical director.
Speaking on Original 91.9 FM, the outspoken administrator revealed that the newly appointed Technical Director, Rene Hiddink, will lead this exercise in the absence of a substantive head coach since he is the head of that department.
“The team will begin preseason on August 1 at Pobiman, and our technical director will be in charge,” he emphasized.
The Phobians are seeking to get back on their feet after a quirky run last season.
Opare Addo added that some players from their feeder side, Auroras, will be promoted to join the senior team to foster steadily progression and maturity.
Hearts of Oak finished 12th on the league log in the 2022/2023 betPawa Premier League season.
